Hello, My name is Terri Oguz. I am a registered Private Investigator and Private Investigator General Instructor. I have been a Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, (VA DCJS) registered private investigator since 1993 and a registered Instructor since 2011.

I am a government contractor and I recently published an article for Law360 related to WWII contract matters and Plancor Insurance.  I have prepared a number of presentations for television broadcast on the history of the oil industry and authored other articles on the recovery of insurance for long tail environmental liabilities. I previously served as Vice President of the National Institute of Genealogical Research (NIGR) Alumni Association and I am listed as an independent researcher for National Archives at URL: NARA.gov.

I am proud to announce the publication of my new book, “The Mundens,” about my quest to find Grandma (Walker) Munden.  I trace a British family that arrived in Colonial Virginia during the 17th Century and follows their path as they migrated south along the Atlantic Coast before the Revolutionary War to the Carolinas, and after the war to Georgia and ultimately to Spanish Florida where they finally settled during the early 19th Century.
